    Re: Biggest movie letdown???

My biggest problem with Episode 3 was how Lucas carried out the Jedi Purge. Darth Vader was supposed to be at the forefront of hunting down the Jedi, but Lucas' explanation that it actually was Vader, since he had just been named Darth Vader by the Emporer, was preposterous. Everybody that paid a ticket for that movie wanted to see Darth Vader in the suit whipping some arse. His follow up explanation: Vader was too recent from his injuries to be in any action. All that time waiting to see Darth Vader in the suit on the screen again only for a minute at the most...I felt like driving to Skywalker Ranch and putting my foot up George Lucas' arse.

    Re: Biggest movie letdown???

Considering all the Masters were out Fighting in the war and were picked off like that.. and Vader Murdered all the Future Younglings... Id say Vader was in the front, he single handedly took out the Future of the Jedi, aside from Obi wan who kicked his ass and Yoda.. and of coures Luke and Leiah weren't born yet.

Vader was powerful but he couldn't have possibly beaten any of the Masters 1 on 1 the Obi-Wan fight proved that. Hell the Emperor couldn't even take out Mace w/o the assistance of Vader. During Ep 3 Anakin has lots of experience and is really powerful with the force, but hes not a master becuase he cannot control himself, which is what gets him sliced and diced by obi-wan when he very badly acts and say "You under estimate my powers" No he didn't...

Only way vader could have been a forerunner of murdering each and every Jedi and the Jedi Masters would be to be fighting along side them and Bushwack them... but that would have taken more time than needed rather than saying oK vaders gonna kill the Future of the jedi the rest are getting punked out by the Clones

Im with you guys I hated Jar Jar Binks But Ep3 wasn't so bad.. Empire Still Rules the Roost... someone said 3 > 5 Thats Blasphemy!

And to tall the "Boba Fett Fan boys out there" What did he EVER do in any of the movies? Nothing. He got punked out harder than his old man did, at least his dad was slew by the baddest mother ****er with a light sabre... I know the books have Boba Fett living inside that thing that ate him and surviving... but movie wise Boba Fett is the Biggest ***** of the series and people love him. You can polish a turd but its still a piece of ****!

My biggest movie let down tho wasn't anything with Starwars... It was District 9 that movie sucks ass, and people love that too... People SUCK. Whats appealing about a 2 hour movie that poses the WHOLE time like a generic News broadcast.. I hated it, terrible Even boobies coudln't have made that movie worth watching, and I love Boobies.

I see your point, but nobody cared about seeing Anakin as Vader whipping Jedi arse. Everybody I know who was foaming at the mouth for Ep. 3 to come out and see Vader again was hoping to see him being bad-arse in the suit. The image of Darth Vader isn't one of Anakin, it's the imposing figure of him in that black suit. It has endured all these years and what has made the character so popular. If Anakin hadn't been injured and didn't need the suit, I promise you, Star Wars wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is today.

I found it humorous as well, pretty terrible way to end the new series.

That movie was great from the special effects, the plot, and all-around aspects of it. It's filmed in a documentary/mockumentary style, not some news broadcast for starters. And has some deep undertones dealing with racism and xenophobia, it was great, glad to own it. Looks like you went in there expecting something different and didn't get it, then you declare it sucks.

Didn't suck, but I don't think you have to look into it that much. If memory serves me correctly, it originated from the idea for the Halo movie. They pulled the plug and came up with that.

And to every one else, why didn't you just call this "Fanboys, which StarWars sucked?" ha ha

After you watched the first paranormal why bother with the second? I am glad I watched the first one online for free and ended up fast forwarding through most of it to see if anything ever happened worth watching, which it didn't.

Why didn't they go ahead and say this is a propoganda film and not really for entertainment? Just like Avatar that even Cameron admitted was a propoganda piece.
